Nancy Tchieu

Grants Specialist, Global Energy Transition Initiative

    Nancy, a grant specialist for the Global Energy Transition Initiative, has a variety of work experiences in the public and non-profit sectors over the past fifteen years, including grants management, operations, budgets, contracts, data management, compliance/regulations mitigation, and procurement. Through Nancy’s professional experiences, she constantly identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize efficiency in processes.

    Before joining ClimateWorks Foundation, Nancy worked at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health as Staff Analyst on the Health Equity Grants Management team that managed some COVID-19 grants for spending and reporting. In this capacity, Nancy was able to adapt to constant changes during the pandemic to meet the needs of the community and local governance of the County.

    Nancy has a Masters degree in Public Administration from Cal Poly Pomona and a Bachelor’s in History from California State University, Fullerton.

    Nancy is hopeful and excited to join the efforts in combating climate change. In Nancy’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, going out for long walks, reading, hiking, and traveling.
