Lina Fedirko is an Associate Director of the Road Transportation Program at ClimateWorks Foundation. She spearheads the Minerals for Energy Transition Initiative and the Battery Sustainability Initiative as part of the Drive Electric Campaign, which works to accelerate the transition to 100% zero-emission electric transportation.
In her previous roles at ClimateWorks, Lina led work at the intersection of electrification and urban mobility solutions, including micro-mobility and sustainable lifestyle strategies.
With over a decade of experience in urban climate change and transportation policy, Lina has contributed to global efforts to decarbonize cities and sectors. Prior to joining ClimateWorks, Lina contributed low-carbon policy research to Climate Change and Cities, Second Assessment Report of the Urban Climate Change Research Network (UCCRN), and advanced transportation access and climate initiatives at several non-profit organizations in New York.
Lina holds an MS in Urban Policy Analysis and Sustainability Strategies from the New School University and a BFA from Pratt Institute. A proud native of Ukraine, Lina brings a global perspective to the challenges of sustainable development and transportation.
