Elin joined the Global Intelligence team in 2019. As Senior Associate, she has a cross-functional role, managing research projects across the team’s three portfolios of Climate Analytics, Climate Philanthropy, and Climate Action & Accountability. This includes stakeholder engagement on the development of a research agenda, overseeing the proposal process with recipient institutes, direct engagement with researchers, and synthesis of outputs for funder audiences. She is also an internal manager for the Carbon Call, a ClimateWorks led initiative seeking to mobilize collective action, investment, and resources to strengthen GHG accounting, making it more reliable and interoperable.
Before joining ClimateWorks, Elin was a researcher at the Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (APARC) Japan Program at Stanford University, where she conducted research on innovation and entrepreneurship in Silicon Valley and in Japan. Elin holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Kenyon College.
