As Senior Associate with the Global Intelligence team, Karolina works collaboratively using climate philanthropy related data to develop compelling, integrated, and accurate analyses and visualizations to meet the information needs of key internal and external audiences. Karolina joins us from New York City Parks, where she worked as an analyst with the agency’s Wildlife Unit. Karolina served as the primary data steward and analyst for New York City’s Deer Impact Management Plan and worked on issues related to NYC’s urban wildlife population, including for species threatened by climate change. She holds a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and a M.A. in Geography and Regional Studies from the University of Miami, where her thesis focused on quantifying forest loss and identifying drivers of deforestation the in Northeastern Ecuadorian Amazon.
