Onyinye Chukwuanu is the Director, Philanthropic Partnerships at ClimateWorks. She is an experienced development and fundraising professional with years of experience working with institutional partners, principal and individual gifts, and grant writing to increase the impact of rights-based organizations that center the wellbeing and health of people, communities, and the planet.
Prior to joining ClimateWorks, Onyinye worked to advance strategic development and donor relations across different sectors, including climate, environment, Indigenous rights, women’s rights, and food sovereignty. She has also worked with large scale public education institutions including University of California, San Francisco, and consulted with Bay Area public school districts to secure state grant funding. She holds a JD from University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and a BS in Business Administration from University of Missouri-Columbia.
