Saleem Chapman is the Senior Program Strategist for the Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion team at ClimateWorks Foundation. Saleem is a seasoned environmental and climate strategist with a wealth of experience in equity and environmental justice. He has held various civil society and public sector roles, including serving as the City of Philadelphia’s director of sustainability and its first-ever chief resilience officer, where he worked towards a more resilient, equitable city for current and future residents. Most recently, he was the first executive director of environmental excellence for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Environmental Protection, where he drove operational excellence and innovation.

Saleem is passionate about using data to amplify social impact. He holds a Masters in Data Science and is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Systems and Analytics.
