Laura Aldrete supports the maintenance, expansion, and integration of the Climate Analytics Portfolio, a set of assets that map out the solution space of climate mitigation by developing scenarios in climate models, analyzing GHG mitigation technologies & policies, and evaluating the multiple benefits of climate action. In this role, she provides quantitative analysis and modeling on greenhouse gas emissions across sectors and geographies. Laura has more than six years of experience in data analytics and research.
Before joining ClimateWorks, Laura worked as a Data Analyst in the Research and Analytics Department at Trying Together, and as a Jr. Researcher at the Centro de Investigacion y Docencia Economicas (PIPE-CIDE). Laura has B.A. in International Relations from the Universidad de las Americas, Mexico, and a M.S. in Public Policy and Management, with a concentration in Environmental Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
